Bailey
Name: ~Bailey~

Breed: Vizsla

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 1 1/2 years old (8/21/00)

Comments: Bailey is a warm and affectionate companion, and has a genuine love of romping outdoors. She is an avid swimmer, and hardly stays out of the water when we take her on fishing outings with us. Seen here with one of her favorite toys, Bailey is always eager for a good game of fetch.

Ty
Name: ~Ty~

Breed: Yellow Lab

Sex: Male

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 2 years, 9 months old

Comments: We came very close to losing TY. Luckly the Vet acted quickly and knew of Addsions disease and what test to run. We were lucky, their are some vets out their who are not as knowledable. Ty is truly our baby and we wake up every morning and smile because he is still here we love him with all our hearts. Ty loves to play ball with his sisters. He loves to run and play and is more a puppy now then he has every been. We look forward to many many years together. Ty will be 4 on June 19th, 2002.

Sandie
Name: ~Sandie~

Breed: Chow/Terrier Mix

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 3 years 9 months old (Sept 2001)

Comments: Sandie has bounced back remarkably and then some! For about two years we thought she just had a sensitive stomach which would cause occasional stomach upset. But now we know it was the Addison's Disease creeping up on her. She is so happy now and so are we!

Poor George II
Name: ~Poor George II~

Breed: Miniature Poodle

Sex: Male

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 4 1/2 years old

Comments: Poor George's first owner died when he was a young pup. He was given to a couple that passed him on to a lady that subsequently took him to the pound. I knew I had to have him the second I laid eyes on him. It took 4 days to process the paperwork, but we made bail, and headed home. He is the son we never had, my constant companion, and just a furry little love muffin. He lives a happy, healthy life now, thanks to his doctor and support from this group. There really IS light at the end of the Addison's tunnel!
