Angie
Name: ~Angie~

Breed: Great Dane

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 17 months old

Comments: Angie is Kane's(below)sister and I have to say that Angie is the apple of everyone's eye. Before she became sick she was the most beautiful and fun loving dane I came across. Angie is so full of life it was a sad moment in everyones life when she became sick. Thankfully  the vets were able to diagnosed Angie and her will to live, that she is now full of life and love and back at beating up her brother. (Once he gets better.)

Kane
Name: ~Kane~

Breed: Great Dane

Sex: Male

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 23 months old

Comments: Kane's sister Angie (above) was diagnosed w/Addison's months before Kane, so when he started to fail we were lucky to know the symptoms and was able to catch the disease before a crisis. Not only is he my best friend in the world he is also my hero, for he was there for me when I was very sick. Love ya big guy.

Filou
Name: ~Filou~

Breed: Standard Poodle

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: Two weeks before her 2nd birthday

Comments: We love her. Who would have ever expected the perfect companion to be so beautiful and understanding? She's a shy lady-like gentle soul and manages to ferret out anything silk or velvet to snuggle into. Her favorite pastime (besides seeking food) is fetching her hot pink squeaky ball. She's doing well but is easily fatigued. Around our house, it's always "Make a Wish Poodle Foundation". We love her.

Taffy
Name: ~Taffy~

Breed: Old English Sheepdog

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 14 months old

Comments: She's a nice dog and loves to play with the kids.

Trixie
Name: ~Trixie~

Breed: Keeshond

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 2 years old

Comments: : Trixie is up to her usual tricks after being diagnosed 2 years ago. She's doing remarkably well on her meds and is her old hyper self! She is a certified pet-therapy dog and visits special needs kids at a local elementary school's early intervention program. Despite her usual exuberance she's always on her best behavior when visiting the kids and is calm and patient with them. She is very special and very much loved.
