Comments: J loves to help you take your socks off, even if you don't want to. My husband will say J. I need help, and he races to help him take his socks off. Also, he loves to snuggle.
Breed: Labrador Retriever

Comments: Tucker is the oldest of three labs in our home. He loves to play ball and cuddle with our female chocolate lab Bailey, and our male black lab Barney. He is an 85 lb. 'lap dog' and is a very gentle, obedient and loving soul. After quite a scare with an AD crisis while we were on our honeymoon, Tucker is recovering nicely and we hope to share many more years with him. If anyone can make it through the tough times, it's Tucker - he's definitely a fighter!
Breed: Shepherd x Terrier
Sex: Male
Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 6 yrs old
Comments: Rinny is extremely affectionate with me. Very protective when I am not feeling well. Sometimes, I laugh because I feel like I am the patient and he is the caregiver. He has an uncanny ability for knowing when I am not feeling well. My mother passed away 2 years ago and I don't know what I would have done without him. He laid beside me, lick my face, did crazy things to make me laugh and sometimes, would just lie there with me and stay quiet as if he knew that that is what I needed.
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier
Sex: Female
Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 5 years old (May 2000)
Comments: This is Daphne showing off her bow! She is so full of mischief that she makes us laugh every day. She was diagnosed after a very scary emergency visit to the animal hospital. The doctor there didn't recognize the disease - she thought it was liver disease and didn't think Dapne would make it through that awful first night. But with good care and lots of prayers she pulled through and is ok today. At first she only took Prednisone but after a few months she started feeling sick again so now she takes Florinef everyday, too.
