Ginger Pryor
Name: ~Ginger Pryor~

Breed:Miniature Dachshund

Sex:Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 7 years old

Comments: Spoiled and loved by Antwine and Dolores Pryor, Ginger was diagnosed with Cushing in February of 1995 and had her adrenal glands removed in March of 1995. She has survived three major surgeries in three years - the adrenalectomy in 1995, was spayed in 1996 and in 1997 a growth was removed from her larynx. She is tough and seems to do just fine.

Benji
Name: ~Ben~

Breed: Boston Terrier x Lhasa Apso

Sex: Male

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 2 years old

Comments: Benji is a TRUE Terrier, cute, caring, cuddly, and a NO FEAR dog!!! Loves to follow me around where ever I go, and is truly loyal. Best li'l mutt I could think of, and would recommend the breed to anyone if it was a "normal" breed dog. He's something you really do have to see to believe...

Rosie
Name: ~Rosie~

Breed: Newfoundland Landseer

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 15 1//2 months old

Comments: Rosie is a wonderful girl, even if she is spoiled rotten. She was VERY lucky- her family and her vet spotted the signs immediately, and she was in and diagnosed within 72 hours of her actual visible symptoms occurring. She is a special little dog to us, and she was almost lost. She took 4 days to stabilize when she went "bad".

OD
Name: ~O.D.~

Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

Sex: Male

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 7 years and 2 months old

Comments: O.D. was diagnosed as having Addison's disease in January 1999 at 7 years and 2 months old. With DOCP injections and a daily prednisone pill he is back to his normal, active, happy self. O.D. loves playing with any type of ball. The neighborhood children call him soccer dog because of his wonderful soccer ball handling skills. O.D. lives with Dr Joan Ploem Miller and Karen Myland in Tigard, Oregon.

KatieLynn
Name: ~KatieLynn~

Breed: Yellow Labrador Retriever

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 10 1/2 years old

Comments: KatieLynn was a very sick dog, but thank goodness we found out what was wrong! We knew something was really wrong when she stopped eating - but now she reminds us of feeding times. She is the eldest "child", with her 1 1/2 year old sister Kylie(also a yellow lab) and two step-sister cats (Thelma and Emily) to keep in line. She is a very loved member of this family, and we look forward to more good times swimming at the lake!
