Both of the photos below will display identically on the web, although the difference is the dpi (hence the download time, if you're paying attention :))

The photo on the top is 72dpi, and measures 412 x 262 pixels. The photo on the bottom is 300dpi, and also measures 412 x 262 pixels. Want to know the critical difference?? Because we require a 300 dpi resolution to print clearly, the 300 dpi photo will print out to be only 1.37 x 0.87 inches - go ahead and try it, I did! Obviously that's not going to work for our calendar, even though it looks great for you at home.
